Brenda Bacich

Brenda completed her Bachelors of Science in Human Resource Management and her Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Geneva College.  She completed her Masters internship at Sharon Regional Health Systems on the inpatient psychiatric unit where she was trained in assessing psychiatric needs, determining required level of care, participation in multi-systemic treatment, coordinating aftercare and facilitating group therapy as well as working directly with patients and their families on the adult and child unit.

Brenda went on to serve as a Family Based Mental Health Therapist providing services to diverse families in need in Lawrence County. While providing FBMHS she completed three additional years of training in Family Systems and Structural Family therapy as well as participated in active and regular collaboration with school systems, hospitals, residential treatment facilities, partial hospitalization programs, the foster care system, JPO, CYS, psychiatrists, case workers and insurance providers in order to ensure continuity of care. She was also trained in Crisis Prevention and Management and provided crisis intervention.

She began serving in the Mercer County community in 2010 at All About Life Counseling Services where she specializes in working with couples and families, grief and loss and trauma.  She is a Delegate under the supervision of our Psychologists, providing assessment and diagnosis for BHRS and other indicated interventions.

Brenda is a National Certified Counselor and is an active member of Chi Sigma lota. She provides pro bono service for victims and staff at local shelter for victims of human trafficking and is also registered with Give an Hour responding to current mental health needs of U.S. troops and their families. In her free time she enjoys her husband and their family, instructing yoga classes, gardening and promoting health and wellness for individuals and the environment.
